How to Reach Jaigaon From Siliguri:

Jaigaon is located approximately 154 kilometers away from Siliguri and when you rent a Car in Siliguri from a trusted car rental agency. It takes almost 4 hours to reach there. There are also few buses available at the bus stand near Junction to go to Jaigaon. Along with that, shared small vehicles are also available at the same place.

How to Reach Jaigaon from Bagdogra:

The approximate distance between Bagdogra and Jaigaon is 168 kilometers and if you have booked Bagdogra Airport car rental service then it would take almost 4 hours and 10 minutes to reach there. However, you can first travel to Siliguri and then avail the buses from junction as mentioned earlier.

1- Zangdopelri Lhakhang

It is a popular attraction situated in Phuentsholing, Bhutan which is approximately 4.5 kilometers away from Jaigaon. It is a great photographic spot with a refreshing atmosphere. Guru Padmasambhava who is among the principal figures of Buddhism is worshiped here. It has many miniature wheels to turn and it also serves as the house of offerings for the locals.

2- Amo Chhu Crocodile Farm

It is a crocodile breeding and conservation center which is situated a few minutes walking distance from the main town of Phuentsholing. It remains open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm throughout the week. Gharial which is an endangered reptile species is reserved here.

It is situated at an elevation of 400 meters and is also called Karbandi Goemba. It is also popular for being the summer residence of the Royal Grandmother, Ashi Phuntsho Choedron. There are many impressive statues of Shabdrung, Guru Rinpoche, Shakyamuni Buddha and Ngawang.

4- Phuentsholing Park

Phuentsholing Park which is approximately 3.5 kilometers away from Jaigaon is a major attraction among travelers for being the oldest park here. It is basically an open space gym where you can stretch your muscles and a basketball court is also there where Bhutanese, as well as Indian's, come to play.

Along with being the main gateway to Bhutan, Bhutan Gate is also a wonderful photographic spot. As you walk in, what you see is great architecture, orderly planning, and municipal cleanliness. The gate closes at 10 pm every day.
