Also known as "Toy Train", is one of gorgeous heritage sited in West Bengal.

This train runs from NJP Railway Station to Ghoom Station (Darjeeling). The elevation level is from about 100 meters at New Jalpaiguri to about 2,200 meters at Darjeeling.

Since 1999 the train has been declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In 2005, UNESCO added the Nilgiri Mountain Railway as an extension to this. In 2008 the 96-kilometer, 2.5-foot gauge Kalka–Shimla Railway, was also added to it.
